Tash Grossman

Founder & CEO

Tash started her career in management consulting, working with FTSE 100 clients on digital and business transformation. Experiencing the frustrations of paper receipts firsthand, she turned a consumer pain point into a business. Passionate about retail innovation and championing women in business, she founded Slip in 2021 to transform receipts into powerful digital tools that enhance customer engagement and change the game for omnichannel retail experiences.

Eddy Herman

Founder & CTO

Eddy brings a background in software engineering from The Hut Group and cybersecurity at Darktrace. He joined Tash early in Slip’s journey, bringing the technical expertise needed to turn vision into product. As CTO, Eddy leads the development of Slip’s platform, building the infrastructure that enables retailers to deliver digital receipts that are secure, scalable, and built for operational efficiency.

How a simple story sparked a big idea.

In 2020, our co-founder Tash couldn’t return a pair of trousers because she didn’t have the paper receipt. It was a small, frustrating moment, one many of us can relate to, but it sparked a much bigger question: Why are we still relying on paper receipts? In a world where almost everything has gone digital, why hasn’t the receipt caught up?

That moment became the beginning of Slip.

We saw the untapped power of receipts and began to unlock it.

We started digging. Talking to shoppers, retailers, tech partners, anyone who touched a receipt. And the more we learned, the clearer it became: the receipt wasn’t just outdated, it was a missed opportunity. That’s when we realised this wasn’t just a problem to solve, it was a chance to reimagine the whole experience from the ground up.

Since then, we've built a platform designed to transform how receipts work.

Receipts should be smart, seamless, and useful. They should help people track their spending, access rewards, and connect more meaningfully with the brands they love.
